AE Tutorial – Corner pinning with Mocha for CS5

on May 25 in Tutorials by

I’ve been meaning to have a play with Mocha since I started using CS4 at my last job, but never quite got the time. Now that I’ve got CS5 installed, it seemed like a good time to get to grips with this advanced motion tracking tool for After Effects. To give it its full title – a planar tracker – Mocha can analyse the movement in the scene and create tracker points. These can then be used to create a motion-matched corner-pin (like adding a logo to a moving vehicle, or replacing a billboard ad with something else).

Here’s how to use it to pin a video of your choice onto the screen of an iPod Touch.
